SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: 'Troppo' Season 2, an Australian crime series, marks the return of Thomas Jane as Ted Conkaffey and Nicole Chamoun as Amanda Pharrell.

Ted and Kelly Conkaffey may reunite in 'Troppo' Season 2
Ex-cop Ted's life was turned upside down when he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the past. Not only did he lose his job and dignity, but the allegations also impacted his marriage.
Although the charges against him were dropped, he started a new life in Crimson Lake, away from his wife and daughter who live in Sydney.
In Season 2, Kelly (Radha Mitchell) and Lilly pay a visit to Ted in the small town for a weekend. As the family once again shares the same roof, Ted realizes how much he wants his old life back.
In Episode 7, he also tells Kelly that he wants to work on their relationship. While Kelly refuses to stay in Crimson Lake, Ted expresses that he might accompany them to Sydney.
Will 'Troppo' Season 2 mark the end of Ted Conkaffey and Amanda Pharrell's partnership?
Being with his family makes Ted happy. If he finally decides to move back to Sydney, it will end his partnership with Amanda.
Ted has been Amanda's only friend and his departure would leave a huge void in her life.
Apart from the ongoing murder mystery, the fate of Ted and Amanda's partnership remains a point of intrigue for the final episode.
If Ted leaves, their partnership as detectives would eventually end, risking the franchise's future.
