Episode 6 of 'Troppo' Season 2 opens with poachers finding Brooke (Sara West) severely injured by the river. She succumbs to her injury in the hospital and Amanda becomes the primary suspect, who apparently carries a vendetta against Brooke.

Luckily, for Amanda, Pip comes to the rescue as she makes an official statement that they were together at the time of the murder. As Amanda's name gets cleared, she gets on a mission to investigate who killed Brooke.

Amanda initially suspects that Twist (Simon Lyndon) killed Brooke as she was seen in his car on the night of the murder. However, Twist cleared her doubts during the confrontation.

A deeper investigation leads Amanda and Ted to Ronnie's (Ursula Yovich) cousin and his pal who had clear motives to kill Brooke and the evidence further points to their involvement.

However, one of the final moments of the episode hints that Amanda and Ted's investigation is headed in the wrong direction.

The scene depicts Colin (Brett Tucker), the journalist, carrying screws, pliers, and other tools in the trunk of his car, where he also finds Brooke's earrings.

Brooke was with Colin before she was mysteriously murdered. This makes him one of the last people to have seen her. In his room, Brooke had found some of his papers in the drawer and she ended up texting Amanda in a hurry.

It is possible that Colin saw Brooke as a threat and followed her later at night. However, the astonished look on his face leaves us puzzled.

So far, Amanda has only been focusing on Twist while the actual killer might be someone she least suspects. We hope to discover Colin's actual role in the entire mystery in the next episode.
