Spoilers for 'Trinkets' Season 2

After an entire year of trying to stay off the radar, Elodie Davis (Brianna Hildebrand), Tabitha Foster (Quintessa Swindell), and Moe Truax (Kiana Madeira) finally muster up the courage to turn themselves in. But it's not for what you think it is. At the end of the final chapter of Netflix's infinitely charming and adorable teen drama 'Trinkets', we see the leading trio come together one last time to seek revenge on the notorious Brady (Brandon Butler) for not just physically abusing Tabitha multiple times, but also trying to blackmail her best friend Moe into stealing tests for him. In the initial phase of the season, we see the two girls scared someone might find out they sunk Brady's car in the lake, but that's the least of their problems as Brady's sinister manipulation continues growing. So what better way to out the monster than come clean about what they themselves did!

It begins with Brady using the sunken car story to his own benefit, as he puts up an emotionally damaged facade to excuse what he claims he did. Shocking as it might be, Moe does not let Tabitha fall for Brady's manipulative and conniving bullshit. But things start getting out of hand when Brady's new squeeze photographs Moe kissing her nerdy classmate Chase (Nik Dodani) right after Noah (Odiseas Georgiadis) breaks up with her. Brady starts using the photo to blackmail Moe into stealing science test questions for him so he can pass his midterms and get into Stanford. And Tabitha still keeps shut about what an absolutely vile person Brady can be, with her, Elodie, Moe, and Noah being the only people who know the full story, soon she spills it all.

Noah (L) and Brady (R) get into a tussle over the science test (Netflix)

When Brady having access to the leaked tests is reported by Noah, and the school internally investigates the matter, Brady lies and tells them it was a whole ring who passed around the leaked questions. This spurs their science teacher Miss Shaw to find the source of the problem and unfortunately, the stealing had been done on Chase's laptop, via a shared screen. Brady lets Chase take the fall happily but the lying and guilt of it all is too much for our beloved trio to put up with. So when Tabitha finds Brady's new girlfriend with the same bruises that used to be on her not all that long ago, she decides to take a stand and comes clean via a whole presentation in the school's hallway.

Tabitha, Moe, and Elodie print out giant posters, assorted with an explanation about why they stole the test questions and how it was all a part of a bigger story. Their presentation offers the entire school vivid photos of bruises Tabitha got from Brady's abuse, along with a picture of him, and screenshots of apologetic and confessional text messages he had sent to her after she broke things off with him. Brady's monstrous secret is revealed and although the trio puts everything and their whole future at risk for the truth to come out, in the end, it's all worth the pain. 'Trinkets' Season 2 signs off with an epilogue to a not so distant future where Elodie is dating her new girl Jillian, Moe is inching towards a fresh start with Noah, and Tabitha is happy and at peace with her art. It is wholesome and worth it.

'Trinkets' Season 2 is now available for streaming only on Netflix.
