Lifetime has provided us with all genres of shows and movies that cater to every mood. The network is back with another such movie called 'Trapped with my Husband' - an absolute thriller you don't want to miss.

Directed by Roxanne Boisvert, ‘Trapped with My Husband’ is a thriller that revolves around a fashion designer named Melissa, who is newly married to a man named Kevin. Little does she know the web of lies he's spun around her just to trap her for her money.

The movie starts with Kevin staging a theft and helping Melissa just to win her heart. One year later, the couple is married and living together. When Melissa comes back home to make dinner, she asks Kevin to join her in making it, but he leaves with an excuse of work to flirt with Grace, a young hostess at his restaurant. Meanwhile, Conour, Melissa's boss, lets a friend know he has feelings for Melissa.

While Kevin and Grace are making love in his car, Melissa is attacked by a man claiming Kevin owes him 3000 dollars. Next day, Kevin's ex meets Melissa and tells her the whole truth. When she heads home she figures out that Kevin is cheating on her. She confronts him about everything and decides to end the marriage. The next morning, there's a fight between the duo in front of their neighbors and things get messy. Melissa moves out while Kevin tries to get the cash that Quinn, his ex, needs. He meets her and ends up killing her to keep the money for himself.

Melissa talks to her lawyer about speeding the divorce process while Kevin continues to frustrate her by asking her to pay all his debts. He warns Melissa with a gun to show her his dominance. The next day Melissa gets frustrated and thinks of ways to take revenge on him. Days pass by as Kevin tries to sabotage Melissa's company, and Grace gets more frustrated at Kevin for ignoring her.

Then comes the day when Melissa and Kevin sit to talk about their divorce, and Kevin is hell-bent on wanting the chunk of money that he will get from their separation. Kevin finally gets frustrated and asks to meet Melissa in a private place. When she does, he takes her hostage and asks her to sign the divorce papers to get all the money he wants and a part of her business too. Just then, Conour who followed Melissa with a hunch that something could go wrong, steps into the scene and tackles Kevin to the ground. Cops are called to the scene and the whole situation is handled. Kevin is sent to jail on account of kidnap and assault, and Melissa tries to move on with her life.
