CBS' new crime drama series had taken off with fireworks. Watching award-winning Edie Falco in the lead role and nailing her character from day one has been a delight for viewers and her fans.

People (this writer included) love her and adore her as Abigail Thomas. As the first female chief of police of LAPD and defying all the conventions of someone in her position, Thomas aka Tommy, has already won hearts. Having said that, the show’s popularity could also be attributed to the great writing and performances of every character that makes the 'Tommy' family. However, when you love the show, you want to talk about it, share your views, opinions, connect with the team and learn what others have to say.

Finally, fans spoke up and made their request.

One said, "Great new show, @CBS and @CBSAllAccess! Would you be so kind to open a Twitter account for #EdieFalco and/or #TommyCBS so that we watchers can show them some love? Thanks!"

Another Twitter user is more keen on connecting to Edie Falco on her official Twitter account. "That's stupid I saw this woman on CNN and I was interested in her but I'm not seeing an official Twitter page for #EdieFalco," he said.

Another fan asked if they can actually have a Twitter handle. She said, "Love #EdieFalco and her new show!!! Is #Tommy going to have a Twitter account any time soon???  @RealEdieFalco #eastcoast."

Living in the days of real-time online conversations, it is nearly impossible to interact if there is no social platform to do the same. Three weeks into the show and 'Tommy' has no official Twitter page for fans to join and admire how much they love Falco, the show and the other actors.

Hopefully, we will get there soon and find a community where we can all interact and join the conversation on this show that has already taken the primetime audience by storm.

‘Tommy’ airs every Thursday night at 10pm/9c, only on CBS.
