Queen sends letter to toddler who dressed like her for Halloween and posed with corgis
Not all Halloween costumes need to be scary or sexy. A one-year-old from Ohio has just proved this in an adorable way. For Halloween 2021, the toddler dressed up as the Queen. Delighted, the Queen sent the little girl's parents an equally adorable letter full of love through her lady-in-waiting.
The little diva had an entire photoshoot done for Halloween. She is seen slaying in a blue overcoat, a wig, a hat, and the Queen's signature pearls. But that was not all. The little girl's parents also made their baby pose with super cute corgis, just like the Queen.

The mother of one-year-old Jalayne — Katelyn Sutherland — shared the images from the photoshoot on her Facebook page. She even sent a letter along with some of the images to Buckingham Palace and to her surprise, she received a reply. In a letter dated December 9, penned by the Queen's lady-in-waiting, Mary Morrison, the letter expressed the British monarch's reaction to the toddler's royal cosplay.
"The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photograph you thoughtfully enclosed. Her Majesty thought it kind of you to write to her, and The Queen was pleased to see the photograph of your daughter, Jalayne, in her splendid outfit. Her Majesty hopes you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I am enclosing a little information about the Royal Pets, which Jalayne might like to have."
Similarly, last year, the Queen wrote to a seven-year old boy from Essex in England. This boy had made a happiness-themed word puzzle for the Queen. To show her appreciation, she penned down her thoughts and thanked him for being so thoughtful. The Queen has been going through a tough phase recently.
After the death of her husband Price Philip in April 2021, the Queen faced two more losses in her inner circle of friends. In November 2021, the Queen lost her dear friend and royal aide, the Duchess of Grafton, and just four days after Christmas, the Queen also lost Lady Diana Farnham who was not just her lady-in-waiting, but also a close friend who accompanied her on most royal tours.
