'Titans' Season 3 Episode 8: Will Tim Drake join superheroes instead of Jason Todd?
This article contains spoilers for 'Titans' Season 3 Episode 8
The three Robins, two of them former Robins to be precise, finally met each other in 'Home', the eighth episode of 'Titans' season 3. The battle between the heroes and Scarecrow finally made some progress with the latter poisoning Gotham's water supply. The only question that remains is whether Tim Drake and Jason Todd will be accepted by the Titans as part of the team.
Home also reveals some new developments that were not previously seen on the show. It shows Crane's mother who he mercilessly kills. The other storyline involves romance and a raunchy scene between Blackfire and Connor, implying they are in a relationship. Kory is still experiencing her visions that might be explained by the end of the season. The episode also sees a solid relationship being cemented between Dick and Barbara Gordon.

'Titans' Season 3 Episode 7 Spoilers: Blackfire joins the superhero club
The key part of the story is the meeting of the Robins. Tim confronts Dick and tells him he knows all about his masked vigilante avatar and his past. He also reveals that he knew Bruce Wayne was Batman, and he wanted to join the superheroes as the next Robin. He had analyzed Jason's gait and knew he was the second Robin, but was not entirely sure.
Despite Dick's attempts to dissuade Tim from finding Crane and Jason, the latter takes matters into his own hands and comes in the middle of a planned meet between Dick and Jason, who confides that he was done with Crane. Meanwhile, Tim finds himself face-to-face with Crane who shoots him and leaves him to die. Jason rushes to Tim's aid but runs away when he tells him he wanted to be Robin. The rest of the heroes appear in time to rescue Tim but lose Crane who manages to successfully carry out his diabolical plan to release the drug in Gotham's water system.
Will Tim Drake join the Titans?
With the way the episode ended, only time will tell if the Titans will accept Tim into their fold. Although he does seem to know an awful lot about Batman and Nightwing, he has zero defense skills. This mean he would a liability to the team unless Dick decides to take him in and train him. There's also that matter of solving the Jason Todd issue that resulted in the death of Hank (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn (Minka Kelly) leaving the group.
In all probability, Tim just might join the band by the end of the season. The series still has a lot of storylines to tie up and will focus on the Crane vs Titans battle before introducing new additions to the team. It already did so with Blackfire, and while Tim being part of the Titans is something that will eventually happen, he just might have to wait his turn. His bravery and inquisitive nature say he's earned it. For now. With the team reluctant to accept Jason back, only time will tell which of the two will make the cut.
