'Time Bandits' Episode 5 and 6 Preview: Supreme Being's startling plan hints at major drama

In Episode 3 of the show, Kevin and the group discover that Fianna (Rachel House), is working for Pure Evil (Jemaine Clement).
They want to stop her so they can rescue Kevin's parents but following a harrowing encounter with a Pterosaur in the Jurassic Age, they flee to medieval England, where Kevin's Triceratops head causes them to be mistaken for dragon slayers.
Kevin and the bandits fight a cruel sheriff, and are imprisoned, and then apprehended again.
Kevin persuades the sheriff's troops to revolt, thereby destroying his authority but Bittelig (Rune Temte) obtains Pterosaur eggs to prevent famine in the area, thereby sparking a dragon to attack the townsfolk. In the end, the bandits leave the peasants to face the Pterosaur.
The fourth episode of the show featured Kevin's sister Saffron (Kiera Thompson) who, while attempting to locate her family, ends up in feudal Japan where she is attacked by the demon Fianna , but when she realizes that the girl is not Kevin, she flees, whereas Saffron continues her journey to find her lost family.
Bandits travel through time, beginning in England in 700 CE and escaping to New York City in 1929. They get involved with mobsters who mistake Penelope (Lisa Kudrow) for the notorious crime leader Madame Quennie (Andrea Solonge).
The group becomes too comfortable in the city as they continue to steal liquor from monks in 700 CE and sell it to mobs, making a decent living. Ultimately, they were captured but quickly released by Madam Quennie herself.
The episode ends with the shocking revelation that the Supreme Being (Taika Waititi) intends to reset the planet and needs the map, which was overheard by a guy suspected of being affiliated with Pure Evil.

The fifth and sixth episodes of the fantasy adventure show will debut on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, and will most likely last 37-40 minutes, like with previous episodes.
