KABUL, AFGHANISTAN: Former MMA fighter turned soldier Tim Kennedy, slammed a US Army colonel for sending back four busloads of refugees, inluding 300 orphans, out of Kabul Airport in August 2021 in a new Amazon Prime Video documentary, 'Send Me Tim Kennedy.' He said the colonel passed an order saying, "Turn everybody around – put everybody back out, I don’t care who they are."

According to DailyMail, the incident, that took place on August 25, occurred days before a suicide blast by ISIS-K agents that left 13 servicemen and 170 Afghans dead. Kennedy, in the documentary, which released on August 18, narrated the details of what exactly happened that day. He said, "(We) asked if people holding up blue passports and SIVs could get through. He answered, 'No, I don’t care who they are, those people get back on those buses and they go back into Kabul. Get em off this base?'" He added, "There’s not enough capacity in my soul to be able to mourn four busloads of people that are about to die because the time spend on anguish and mourning could have been spent saving other people."

As per the outlet, this happened after a team of security personnel were sent to Kabul to get people approved to fly back to the US on chartered planes after President Biden announced plans to withdraw. Save Our Allies founder Nick Palmisciano, a former infantry officer in the US Army, said, "We had orphans, 100 Christians, several high value individuals that were requested by government entities. We also had the families of the crews that had been flying the charter airplanes." Kennedy further said how the colonel refused to process the people once they’d made it into the airport and passed an order saying, "Turn everybody around – put everybody back out, I don’t care who they are."

The report added that the buses, that were purchased by Kennedy, Palmisciano, Special Forces Officer Dave Johnson, and ex-recon Marine Chad Robichaux with their own money, included American citizens, green card holders, Afghans who’d helped the war effort and been granted Special Interest Visas, along with Christians who faced persecution at the hands of the Taliban, and orphaned children.

Robichaux said, "Whoever just made the decision to turn this bus around essentially just killed – just murdered – these people. And by the way, some of those people are children. And some of these people were women. But some of these people are Americans, that we just sent back to the Taliban."
