TikTok star Charli D'Amelio posts photo with black eye and taped nose, worried fans ask 'did you get beat up?'
Charli D'Amelio is no small deal, she is TikTok's biggest star with over 71.9 million followers on the app. The 16-year-old social media personality and dancer is loved by her fans online. So when she recently posted a video of herself in a hospital with tape, gauze and blood on her nose, fans across the world immediately became concerned. She captioned the video, "Surgery is done and i am so beyond excited that i was finally able to fix my breathing!!!!! and soon i will be able to be in dance classes again!!!"
Even her post on Instagram, which showed her in a photograph with gauze and a black eye, garnered concerned, anxious fans asking her what happened. "Oh no are you ok?" commented one. "Wait WHAT HAPPENED" added another. "Wtf happened what did i miss," added another fan. "Did you get beat tf up ?💀," asked a worried fan.
Many of the 24.1 million followers she has on Instagram were worried about her health. Many wished her well. "hope you get better soon ❤️," said one. "Hope you feel better Charli," added another. "I love you Charlie hope you get better🤗" another fan said.
While there were some who thought that D'Amelio had undergone a cosmetic nose job, there was, in fact, no need for such speculation. She had taken to Twitter in April to update her plans about the surgery. "Fun storytime so I broke my nose in august and ever since then I have had breathing problems in my right nostril I was supposed to have surgery in November and to fix it but then I started having problems in my left nostril and now I can barely breathe out of my nose at all," she had said.
On July 15, she took to Instagram Live to discuss her upcoming nose surgery. "I'm also really excited because after I get my nose fixed tomorrow I will really be able to smell again because I can't smell," she said, adding, "I can taste things slightly but whenever I go to smell a flower or something, or anything like that, I just can't. And I feel like I'm missing out."
