Thousands of strangers turn up for burial of Air Force veteran after word got out that no one would attend
An Air Force veteran who passed away this past November did not have anyone to attend his funeral this past week. That is until social media got wind of his case and ensured thousands ended up paying their final respects at his service.
According to CNN, Joseph Walker of Dale, Texas, was born in 1946, and served the country in the U.S Air Force during the Vietnam War era and was discharged from his service honorably. He passed away at the age of 72, with an obituary stating he was "called by Our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 19th, 2018."
