Time to move from the Big Three to the Little Three. In a beautiful episode of ‘This Is Us’ titled ‘In The Room’, it's raining babies. Randall (Sterling K Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) keep Madison (Caitlin Thompson) company — virtually — until she doesn't see any signs of Kevin coming back. “You're family,” Randall tells her.

As the episode begins, Randall and Beth stay on the call for hours and assure her they are there. “Are you guys sure you don’t want to go?” she asks them. “I can hang up, I know it’s late for you and I’m sure you need to find a motel for the night.” Randall then makes it clear, “All right, Madison, for the 20th time, we are not hanging up. We are with you until Kevin gets there.”

Kevin and Madison (NBC)

Randall tells her an old story about Kevin from when he was a teenager. Talking about one drunk night, he narrates, “I take him to his room. I come back with a glass of water and he is completely naked.” Guffawing at the funny incident, Randall then remembers how Kevin asked him, “Dude, how come we never started a band? and asks her, “Madison, can you imagine us on a world tour?” She has tears in her eyes and just then, Kevin comes to see her.

“Before I left, you asked how this family will fit into my life. This family is my life. And I quit the movie. No job is going to take me away from you. The beautiful babies... That's all I ever need,” Kevin tells Madison and reassures his love.

As the beautiful babies are born, Kevin names them Nicholas and Francis. Nicholas — for Uncle Nicholas “Nicky” Pearson, and Francis aka Frannie — on Madison's grandmother.

Before anyone else, Kevin calls Randall and thanks him for being with Madison. “I was terrified when I was on that plane. I was thinking she would be alone. But I heard your voice and... Thank you, thank you.” Randall then says, “You are my brother.” A tear trickles down his cheeks.

Clearing up their ugly fight, Kevin says, “I did say some pretty horrible things to you. You are the best person I know. On a fine day, I am simply doing a poor man's imitation of you.” Randall cuts him off and says, “Hey man, we both said things. Tensions were high. We got a lot of ground to cover.”

Meanwhile, Kate (Chrissy Metz) has her little one born too, thanks to the single mom Ellie (Annie Funke). Ellie asks Kate if she can speak to her baby alone. She whispers in her ear, “From the moment I knew you were real I knew I had to take care of you even though you were never supposed to be mine. I have to say goodbye to you now because there is someone really special to say hello to.”

Kate and Toby (NBC)

“Meet your baby Hailey...” Kate tells Toby. Spilling the little one's middle name, he says it's Hailey Rose Damon. Kate is excited that it is a Star Wars reference. But Toby gets his inspiration from the old man, Arlo. The two strike a friendship in the parking lot — one, while waiting for his newborn and the other, waiting to find out if his wife will live or die.
