Over the last three years, NBC's 'This is Us' has given us many reasons to love the Pearsons - fierce loyalty to each other and memory of their beloved father is just one of them. The downside of this unrelenting loyalty, however, is that everyone who was not raised by Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) or was not married to him are excluded from the 'Real Fans of Jack Pearson' club - including the significant others in their lives.

In the past, we have seen Toby (Chris Sullivan) - Kate's (Chrissy Metz) husband - Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) - Randall's (Sterling K Brown) wife - and Miguel (Jon Huertas) - Rebecca's (Mandy Moore) second husband, create their own outsiders' club, and it went on to become one of the most entertaining things about the show.

Their group dynamic left us wanting for more, and it turns out the upcoming Season 4 just may give us a taste of the outsiders' club.

Rebecca and Miguel are moving to Los Angeles to be closer to new mom Kate and help her with the baby in the upcoming season, and Huertas promises us that this will inadvertently lead to some interesting, funny moments between Miguel and Toby.

He tells MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), "Toby and Miguel, they continue to have a really close relationship feeling like the outsiders, and I think that always happens within a family within a group of friends, when someone feels a little bit more on the outside, they connect and kind of support each other and deal with, you know being Outsiders... The way we do is, as Toby and Miguel, is definitely the more comedic way, a light-hearted way of dealing being outsiders. It's fun, a lot of fun."

Huertas also went on to add that in his opinion, Toby's a great character, one of the more interesting characters [on the show], who doesn't get much glory. "I think he is one of the most interesting characters because of the way he diffuses things with humor. And, he and Miguel kind of have that in common... They are both trying to diffuse the drama with humor," he opines.

The upcoming season will also see him and Rebecca interacting with one new character joining the show, the rest will be spread across the different timelines on the show, he says. The actor, who spends most of his more recent appearances on the show in prosthetics, because he plays an older version of his character, also jokes about having to reach a few hours before his colleagues to get into makeup.

On playing the older version, he claims, "Embodies me coming into work, usually about three and a half to four hours before everyone else and It's usually really early in the morning, anywhere we're between 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning we get started and then we sit in the chair for three hours."

Thankfully, having two people at the same time applying makeup to you in different ways, is relaxing for Huertas, because "it's like getting a facial or massage. You got four hands just playing with your nostrils and ears."

The worst part of it, however, is wearing the grey wig. "I never knew what people who are really good wigs go through.. the way they have to pin everything to your head under the wig when you have the wig and everything is pinned. Everything is tight and start to hurt after a while."

Knowing what we do now, we will be sure to appreciate Miguel's aesthetic more, when 'This is Us' returns with Season 4 on Tuesday, September 24.
