‘The World According to Jeff Goldblum’ will mark the network’s inaugural programming schedule. As the teaser promises, it is going to be an exciting journey through regular, mundane things of our life. From ice creams to sneakers, the host will delve deeper into their making, usage, consumption, fun facts, and add his quirky touch to the information, thus making it more appealing for the viewer.

So, if you are looking forward to a fresher perspective to commonplace things, then ride along with Goldblum and discover what he has in store throughout 12 episodes of this curiosity-filled series. Meanwhile, here are a few things you can expect from TWATJG.

Watching Jeff Goldblum in a very different avatar
We have known and seen the veteran actor in myriad roles for decades. And we are quite aware of the charmingly quirky persona that he brings to his interviews and talk shows. But TWATJG promises a different Goldblum. He cracks jokes, hangs out with people, tries his hands on things he has never done, like tattooing, and even tags along on hunts for clothes and shoes. Never before have we seen him in a reality series, going around town, like most travel/adventure/discovery show hosts typically do. So, that angle to the actor’s personality is definitely something to look forward to.

Old things in a new package, but with a twist
Who doesn’t like known things being presented in a new way? More so, if the package has an element of surprise to it. Yes, you might have seen similar content in ‘How Do They Do It’ or ‘How It’s Made’, but those shows would not have the conversation and interaction elements to it. Now, with Goldblum being Goldblum, raw and uncut in front of the camera - even an ice-cream factory tour could turn out to be a joyride.

Quality Content from National Geographic
If truth be told, there is a serious lack of good, original content, especially when it comes to series like these, with the host exploring and discovering places, people, or things. With National Geographic taking the lead on producing and creating the show, along with Nutopia, and Disney airing it, we can expect reasonably good quality entertainment. Besides the star power, we will also get to see the origins of some of the most iconic consumer brands and products through the eye of a celebrity who doesn’t behave like a celebrity. Or so the trailer promises.

‘The World According To Jeff Goldblum’ premiers on Disney+ on November 12.
