Whether you agree with it or not, one has to admit that OnlyFans has become a gamechanger in the world of influencers. This weekly special feature will chart the ups and downs of some of the platform's biggest celebs through the week as they take it off while keeping it switched on.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Being an OnlyFans star is no walk in the park, despite the fortune one rakes in from the x-rated subscription website. OnlyFans creators are at constant war with the system in their relentless quest to break social taboos and question so-called community guidelines.

This past week was rife with stories of how OnlyFans models found themselves in trouble with the law, some domestically and others across international borders. Whether their controversial actions should be glossed over or reap real-life consequences is a debate that will take some time to settle, but they are certainly rocking the societal boat — for better or worse.

OnlyFans babe ‘detained’ by US customs for 30 hours

Australian OnlyFans sensation Mikaela Testa was reportedly deported from the US with her visa "revoked." The 23-year-old influencer revealed on social media how she spent over a day in a border force room before being sent back to Sydney, Australia. “I’ve just been locked in the US border force room for over 30 hours with no phone and had my visa revoked,” she told her followers. “They’ve just deported me back to Australia and I can’t enter the US.” Mikaela shared a photo of Sydney's downtown from her airplane window, saying she's "so grateful to come home to a safe country," adding, “Some of the girls that were detained with me will not. Some had been there for over three days with no contact with the outside world.”

She later took to TikTok and explained what happened. “I just had that sinking feeling in my stomach that I’m in trouble,” she said. After being detained, she was interrogated about who she knew in LA and whether they engaged in any illegal activity together. She was also asked to hand over her phone. “When you’re detained, you have no rights. They can seize your devices forever, they can go through them, and they can download anything off your phone. You have no rights, they basically own you and everything when you step foot into their country,” she said.

At one point, an officer pulled her to the side and asked her whether she was on OnlyFans. “She pulled me over and said, ‘You do OnlyFans, right? That’s not on your ESTA’,” the creator recalled, realizing her mistake. “I did my ESTA years ago, I wrote my employment down as self-employed because in Australia, pretty sure any of person would write ‘self-employed’. Anyway, I’m from a different country, things are so different in the US,” she said.

Mikaela was also asked if she'd collaborated with creators in the US. She told them she hadn't, but an officer unearthed photos of a collaboration with American creators on her Twitter and accused her of lying. “I just said to her ‘Ma’am, I thought you meant had I collaborated with anyone in the US, on US soil,” she explained. “Not with US girls in a different country.”

The curvy model was subsequently moved to another room, which she described as something straight out of "the war movies." She was held by the US government for nearly two days and she became more and more distraught by the hour. The only thing she could think about at that moment was "no more American boys," she said. “I still have marks on my eyeballs from crying so hard over the fact that I’m not going to be able to see American men anymore unless they come to Australia.”

OnlyFans performer could be fined for filming porn at sacred site in Colombia

An OnlyFans creator may be penalized for shooting a porn film at a holy landmark in Colombia. Katty Blake and a male companion filmed a sexual act on the sacred Rock of Guatape. They posted the video on Pornhub, where it went viral and remains on the site to this day, per Indy100.

According to local mayor Juan Sebastian Perez, law enforcement is investigating and reviewing the footage, which could result in a COP 468,162 ($103) fine for each offense. Perez also promised that police would patrol the area to prevent anyone else from "performing sexual acts or exhibitionism that cause discomfort to the community." Blake took to Instagram and appeared to make light of the criticism in a recent video post. "They criticize me for making porn videos in public places when really I make them in historical monuments," she wrote in the caption.

It's worth noting that the Rock of Guatape is located in the town of Guatape, northwest Colombia, and has a height of more than 650 feet. The monument was worshipped by indigenous Tahitian people and is reportedly about 65 million years old. There is a shrine to the Virgin Mary halfway up the staircase.

OnlyFans star sparks outrage for raunchy billboard ad

An Australian OnlyFans performer sparked outrage by promoting her x-rated account on a public billboard with a QR code that directs people to her site. Savannah, also known as WC Savage online, defended herself after facing backlash for posing in a bikini and advertising her pornographic content in a public setting.

"Obviously, people are concerned about children seeing this picture of me in a bikini at the beach, which I think is a little far-fetched," Savannah told Perth's 6PR. "But each to their own. Obviously, OnlyFans is an adult content-creating website that caters to adult entertainment." She admitted that the QR code will lead people to her OnlyFans account, but argued that only those who pay for a subscription will be able to access NSFW photos and videos.

"OnlyFans actually has layers of protection to stop underage people from accessing the site," she insisted, "You need to have your license. You need to have a credit card even just to access the free site." The performer declared it was the parents' responsibility to monitor what their children searched for on the internet. "If young teenagers are scanning this QR code, then there should be parental blocks in place placed by their parents on their iPhones, tablets, computers and things like that, to stop them from being able to access sites like this and other sites that do create explicit content," she argued.

OnlyFans model detained for 'having her boobs out' during city live stream

An OnlyFans star who grabbed headlines for selling her farts in jars to desperate fans was reportedly stopped by Korean police because she "had her boobs out." Hong Kong-based influencer Kiara Kitty drew the ire of authorities after she took to the streets of Seoul, South Korea, in a revealing outfit.

The popular streamer was seen in a TikTok video posted on April 9 being approached by two officers as she spoke to her chat members. One of the officers, who was a female, addressed her in Korean, to which Kiara responded, "I don't speak Korean. It's my first time here; I've never been to Korea before," adding, "I don't know your law." The clip was reposted to her Instagram.

The officers called up a translator, who explained to the model what they were trying to say. Kiara later revealed that someone had reported her to the authorities for "having my boobs out," but claimed she was "wearing a lace top with a very thick fur coat." The officers let her go after she showed them her ID card, but told her she should "wear her clothes properly."

"Of course, it's some jealous b****es who complained about my t**s. Like shut the hell up and let me make my money," she fumed in a later update. "Someone reported me and said I was in underwear. Do I look like I'm in underwear?" she said, showing her outfit. It's worth noting that Kiara Kitty's Twitch account has been suspended four times. The website prohibits the streaming of "sexually suggestive content," the Daily Star reported.
