'The Walking Dead' season 10 premiere teases a Carol, Daryl, and Connie love triangle that has fans feeling all emotional

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' season 10 just premiered and amidst bittersweet reunions and actively feeling the absence of certain pivotal characters, what has also managed to pique fans' interest is a possible love triangle that the first episode teased. Who does it involve? Well, inevitably, Daryl Dixon and his two prospective lady loves - Connie and Carol.
The premiere episode sees Carol returning from a soul-searching fishing trip to reunite with her former love interest, Ezekiel, whom she split up with as the previous season culminated, and while the two's embrace was awkward as it can be, when it came to hugging Daryl, the dynamics were more than just warm between the two. Maybe they are platonic and we are reading way too much between the lines, but that reunion between Daryl and Carol was one of the most heartwarming aspects of the opening episode.

Yet, Daryl is doing something absolutely sweet for the show's first-ever hearing-impaired character - Connie. Turns out, the duo's bond has grown immensely between season 9's finale and the season 10 premiere. How? Let's just say Daryl has been walking around with a sign language pamphlet to learn how to converse with her. The two's most wholesome moment on the show was when Daryl somehow ended up conversing in sign language "in a southern accent" - something that completely won fans over, making it their favorite moment from the premiere so far.
