Bloodbaths are a given when it comes to 'The Walking Dead'. Over the course of ten seasons, we've seen people being eaten by zombies, their insides being smeared everywhere, heads being bashed into a pulp and a head being served on a stick. The finale for Season 10 promises more gruelling and bloody deaths, as it's the final showdown with Beta (Ryan Hurst), his squad of Walkers and Whisperers. Who will live, and who will die?

Bets are being placed on Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) along with Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). Father Gabriel, for the mere reason that he had a terrible death in the comics and there's a strong possibility that the show will follow the comic book's storyline. Hopes are pinned on Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) to return in time and save the rest from suffering miserable deaths. Lauren Cohan's return to the show is a welcome change and she just might be the new Rick Grimes in Season 11.

At Comic-Con 2020, the release date, as well as the trailer, was unveiled. Episode 15 was released in April and since then it has been a long wait, due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the show is ready to get back on track and the fans are eagerly waiting with bated breath.

The first few minutes of the episode were shown, and we got to see Gabriel comforting Judith. There was Aaron and Alden battling Walkers and Maggie receiving a letter about Jesus and Tara's death, while Beta and the Walkers were swarming the rest of the survivors. The tension in the air is palpable and there seems to be an insistent focus on Gabriel, which makes us even more certain that he's going to die in the show.

Fans are beside themselves with excitement and have begun tweeting, "I loved Father Gabriel's explanation to the kids and his narration throughout the clip... AND MAGGIE'S RETURN! #TWD #SDCC #ComicConAtHome #TheWalkingDead," a fan wrote.

"Maggie’s back, betches! #thewalkingdead #comicconathome," another tweeted.

"The Whisperers and the horde are now Beta's screaming fans lol #fangirls #fanboys #TWD #SDCC #ComicConAtHome #TheWalkingDead," another tweeted.

'The Walking Dead' finale returns on October 4, Sunday.
