Had it not been for the coronavirus outbreak, fans would have witnessed an epic end to Season 10 of 'The Walking Dead'. Just about everything after the mid-season finale came in as absolute shockers and the promo of the final episode was all about the final showdown between Beta (Ryan Hurst) and the survivors.

Beta's death is near and that's a prediction safe to make. With the horde behind him, his madness levels have risen considerably making him twice as deadly. In the previous episode, there's also a minor plot that may have teased bad news for Alden and Aaron (Ross Marquand) as they follow the horde to keep the Tower posted on the developments. Except, they run onto a pack of Whisperers. The final minutes see a transmission that Daryl receives about Beta and his army about the Tower being surrounded.

Ahead of the finale, the air date of which is yet to be finalized, there were a few sneak peeks and promos doing the rounds. In focus is the promo that hints at Gabriel's (Seth Gilliam) death as Beta's army closes in. The clip opens with the survivors gearing up for battle where Gabriel decides the team to be split into four groups of two people each. In what comes as an ominous warning, Daryl (Norman Reedus) can be seen saying, "We're all not going to make it through, but this is the only way."

There is also a glimpse of Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) and Daryl sharing a touching moment before the latter heads out for the most defining battle of his life. Elsewhere, Princess (Paola Lázaro) and the trio of Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) and Ezekiel (Khary Peyton) race against time to see Stephanie, but it looks like they have failed in the attempt. One of the plans the survivors have is to blend in with the walkers and we see that as a horde walks by Daryl while it also revealed that Aaron is out there as he takes on walkers and whisperers.

What are your thoughts on the promo? Is this the episode where we see one last heroic act from Gabriel? Only time will tell.
