'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 15 Promo: The Whisperer army is set to make war under Beta's iron fist
There's a new boss in town for the Whisperers and he's scarier and more brutal than the last one. With Alpha (Samantha Morton) dead, Beta (Ryan Hurst) has taken control of the Whisperers and he's headed straight for our heroes with nothing but vengeance on his mind.
A promo for the next episode that has been released online shows Beta leading a massive horde of zombies and Whisperers as they march to war. It looks like even though Alpha might be dead, the Whisperer War will continue to rage on in Episode 15 'The Tower'.
With the final episode of the season delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, Episode 15 is going to be the last installment of Season 10 for a while. Chances are we're going to get a cliffhanger and we're rooting for a showdown between Beta and Alpha's killer Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
The promo also features Princess (Paolo Lazaro) who made her dramatic entry into the show in Episode 14 'Look at the Flowers'. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Angela Kang spoke about the character and her role in the show.
"For comic book readers, they know that this is Princess," Kang explained. "She's a really fun character, and here's this person who has been stuck in this city and she has forged her own path in life to try to deal with everything that's happened. And I'll say that she is obviously in some sort of strange confrontation with our people, and we'll learn a lot more about her in the episode to follow."
"She becomes an important catalyst for some of the things that are to happen. But we love this actress we cast, Paolo Lazaro. She's wonderful. Just folded right in with the cast, is incredibly funny, but has a great dark sense of humor. And so I'm excited for people to see what she brings to this mix going forward," Kang said.
Kang also spoke about the finale being delayed but promises that the penultimate episode will be a pretty epic story so we should be getting enough material to keep us excited till Episode 16 finally comes on the air.
"A lot of times our penultimate is a big episode as well and that's the case here," she said. "There are huge stakes for everybody that's involved, and so it will feel like there's some danger for people at the end of it. And then I'm just really excited for people to come back, and once we're able to finish out what we're doing on the finale, for everybody to see that too. But hopefully, it'll be a really exciting kind of end to the season with these last couple episodes."
'The Walking Dead' Season 10 airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on AMC.
