'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 11 sees daunting battle, subplots amuse fans: 'Hopefully, they fall in love'
Spoiler alert for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 11 'Morning Star'
The decision to fight or flight was on the table with a battle in 'Morning Star'. The Whisperers were coming from Hilltop and after Daryl and Lydia encounter Alpha and her horde, there can be some major character deaths in the next episode. Amusing subplots, featuring Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) and his lover, play their part as well while Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) schemes his way to The Whisperers.
The battle left viewers with more questions than answers. "I'm gonna be annoyed if there aren't a lot of deaths in the next episode. #TWD," tweeted a fan. How are they planning to up and go now? The Whisperers with spanners and gas bombs isn't something they anticipated. "It’s about to be an All Out War Part 2 on TWD! #TWD," tweeted another fan.
The episode also saw Negan getting close to antics of the quiet ones, and fans are enjoying the girth of this storyline.
"I’m enjoying the way this Negan/Whisperers arc is playing out in the show far more than I did the comics. #TheWalkingDead," tweeted another fan.
Another minor plotline was Porter hitting it off with Stephanie and fans adored it. One fan was tweeting, "Wow Eugene and this girl on the radio are so cute! Looks like they will be meeting in an episode or two! Hopefully, they fall in love #TWD."
Porter's character arc was much appreciated. "Eugene singing 'When the Wild Wind Blows' by @IronMaiden added a whole new level of coolness to his character! #UpTheIrons The battle has begun in epic fashion, with a fiery end to this episode! Not sure I'm ready for next week! #TWD #TheWalkingDead," tweeted a fan. Some didn't trust the sudden exploration of love buds. "OMFG I forgot that Eugene was talking to this girl on the radio. I DON'T TRUST THIS!!! #TheWalkingDead #TWD," tweeted another fan.
To sum it all, fans just can't wait for next week's episode: "Ughh this war cliffhanger with Hilltop burning up is going to be hard waiting for! #TWD." Who do you think will be back on top?
