'The Voice' Season 18 returned on March 9 with the fourth blind audition. The coaches only have 10 spots each on their teams and they have been very selective in pushing their 'I Want You' button. A lot of exceptional singers auditioned tonight and a couple of them made teams as well. Tonight's episode was almost inching to a close but what was still missing was a performance that could secure a four-chair turn and that came in the last few minutes of the episode when Georgia man, Mike Jerel came on to the stage.

Jerel chose 'Its a Man's Man's Man's World' for the auditions and the moment he hit the first note, Nick Jonas and John Legend pushed their buttons to turn around. He continued with his soulful voice and his fingers on the piano and the combination was pure magic and it took only a while for all the coaches to turn in their seats and groove along with Jerel's voice and at the end of the performance all of the coaches were gearing up for the big fight to get Jerel to select them as his coach on the show.

Along with his great voice, Jerel also has a great story. He told the coaches about learning music with his grandmother in nursing homes. He was very close to his grandmother who was a positive influence in his life and is sadly no longer with him but he keeps her memories in his heart and still goes back to perform in the nursing home to honor her memory.

When it came to the judges and their pitch, John sensed the gospel influence in Mike's voice and immediately began with "Everything you did was done with such a level of confidence. There was so much fire in your performance. I also grew up in the church and I grew up with my grandmother". Coach Kelly went next saying, "I loved your runs. It was effortless. I cannot wait to see what you show us. I also don't have any males on my team and I have no pianist. The lane is clear". Coach Blake pictured an old lady hitting those notes but when he turned around he was completely shocked. "Everything that happened to me when I turned around was a shock and that what you're gonna do, blow people away," he concluded.

When it came to Jerel's turn to pick one of them, his mother walked onto the stage and on being asked upon as to who her son must choose as his coach she sided with John Legend. Jerel went with his gut and went ahead with John as his coach. John has been a little behind than the other coaches in filling up his team but with Jerel he definitely seemed to be very happy and fans of the show already believe he's a winner.

"@johnlegend #VoiceBlinds you have the winner with Mike. Congrats John. Much love ".

"I believe that John is going to WIN with MIKE@johnlegend #VoiceBlinds" and  "I'm pretty sure Mike Jerel just won the whole thing #VoiceBlinds" read a couple of tweets.
