'The Voice' season 17: Kelly Clarkson is giving self-obsessed Blake Shelton a run for his singers after she steals Shane Q

While we might have assumed since he is a country singer, he would go with Blake, but no, Shane surprised everyone by choosing Kelly.

'The Voice' season 17 returned for night 2 of Blind Auditions on Tuesday, and Kelly Clarkson added another four-chair-turn singer to her team.

After country singer Brennan Lassiter chose Kelly to be her coach over Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend, on Monday night when the season premiered, the season 15-winning coach added Shane Q, another four-chair-turn country singer to her team leaving Blake throwing tantrums on Tuesday night.

Shane Q's rendition of 'Tennessee Whiskey' by Chris Stapleton had all four judges turn their chair for him. The 28-year-old soulful singer definitely won himself a spot as one of the frontrunners this season. And while we might have assumed that since he is a country singer he would go with Blake, Shane surprised everyone by choosing Kelly.

This is her second four-chair turn this season, and the second country artist she has won over Blake. But he doesn't seem too happy about it as Blake went around throwing tantrums, googling himself, and talking about how he is the only OG coach in the competition and how he has had the most number of contestants in the finale and as runners-up.

Apart from her versatile artistry the one question I assume that made Chris choose Kelly as his coach was when she asked him if he wants this to be about him or his coach? "Shane ended up going with Kelly, which is a huge mistake. I'm sure that same website is going to write … and say what a horrible mistake Shane made by not going with the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time)," Blake complained after Shane chose Kelly.

Looks like Kelly is definitely all out for Blake this season and she is the one coach to watch out for. He is also currently the one coach with the least amount of singers on his team. It looks like the only singers who are willing to go to his team are singers who are thoroughly into country music like Cory Jackson.

Blake better step up his game and needs to stop being self-obsessed while talking to the singers if he wants them to join his team and regain his lost mojo

'The Voice' season 17 airs every Monday and Tuesday evening only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
