The eviction episode of ‘The Voice’ 21 witnessed a lot of drama as the fans got to see some unexpected results for the top five. While contestants Jershika Maple, Paris Winningham, Girl Named Tom, Wendy Moten and Hailey Mia made it to the finale, Joshua Vacanti, duo Jim and Sasha Allen, and country singer Lana Scott, unfortunately, had to head back home.

Hailey Mia, at 14, is the youngest singer this season and if she wins the coveted prize, she will become the youngest ever to win the reality show. Mia hails from Team Kelly and Girl Named Tom is another group that made it to the finals from the same team. Mia entering the finale made social media users troll Ariana Grande as Mia was part of the pop queen’s team earlier in the show. Ariana had then decided to let her go over Jim and Sasha Allen. The latter got evicted in the semifinals completely wiping off Ariana’s team. This is the first time when Ariana Grande took over the responsibility of being a judge on the show.

Does Ariana Grande regret letting Hailey Mia go?

Ariana Grande looked emotional as her last remaining members Jim and Sasha Allen exited the show taking the singer out of the finale race. Though Ariana did not comment on her letting go of Hailey Mia earlier, she did post about her getting ousted in her very first season. “It is a season wrap for team ariana ! i AM BURSTING with pride for jim and sasha and all of everyone from #teamariana …. to have met & worked with such brilliant artists is the greatest gift and honor of all of this. i can’t believe there wasn’t a time i didn’t know you all.”

She continued the thread, “It’s truly just the beginning for all of these brilliant humans. i’ll be here always. thank you for enriching my life in ways I can’t even attempt to articulate. your presence and this whole experience has brought so much joy and fulfillment creatively and personally.” Hailey Mia, on the other hand, celebrated her little win by sharing a post on Instagram.

‘Ariana letting Hailey go will forever be her mistake’, claims Twitter

Ardent viewers of ‘The Voice’ brutally mocked Ariana Grande as one of them said, “I just know Ariana is punching the air RN cause Hailey Mia advanced to the finale and not one member from her team will make it.” Another shared, “Ariana should have never let Hailey go and I stand by that.” One user tweeted, “Alright but i think we all know that ariana did not pick hailey cuz she wanted to give a chance to older contestants since they are more likely to become successful now... hailey is young and she will have a successful career, but not now. in a few years, definitely.”

The next one added, “Ariana letting Hailey go will forever be her mistake”, as another chimed in, “Ariana had the opportunity to have Hailey in her team… don’t forget this. she preferred the friendship with the duo than the talent.” One added, “I know Ariana Grande sick she let Hailey go babygirl going to the finals.” Meanwhile, another user concluded, “Hailey Mia beating out all of Ariana's team.... I know she shitting and crying.”
