Bon and Captain set out on a mission to kill Major, who is currently busy chasing his American dream. For the Captain, pulling the trigger on someone isn't easy, so he waits, searching for the opportune moment to accomplish the daring task.

On America's Independence Day, the Captain follows Major to his residence. As he retrieves his gun from a fast-food bag, Major questions whether the General is dissatisfied with his new business and desires a stake in it.

Though Major is prepared to offer a share of his business, Captain continues to focus on his job.

Major realizes that Captain is unable to pull a trigger when his target is looking straight at him. Taking advantage of Captain's nervousness, Major strikes him.

However, Captain summons courage and shoots Major in the belly. As Major attempts to flee, Bon leaps into action and stops him.

Captain then raises the fast-food bag, hiding Major's face, shooting him dead in the face.

Taking advantage of the 4th of July celebrations to assassinate Major. Major's family remains unaware of the shootout and the physical struggle due to the fireworks.

Moreover, while escaping the crime scene, Captain pasted the sticker that reads, 'America: Love It or Leave It', making Major's assassination appear racially driven and deflecting suspicion from himself.

'The Sympathizer' Episode 3 is available to stream on HBO Max.
