Fans have been patiently waiting for the movie to arrive so that they can sit inside the theatres and see it on the biggest screen possible. Social media has been lit up with amazing reactions from the viewers who saw the movie on the first day of its release and they are sharing their views on the James Gunn movie, calling it “an action-packed adventure.”

One of the viewers wrote, “The Suicide Squad. What a movie. Haven't had this much fun and shock reactions to a movie for a long time, especially comic book movies. This movie surprises and is like a comic, over the top with a lot of gory violence. But still, it manages to keep heart.” Meanwhile, another Twitter user shared, “The Suicide Squad was actually pretty good. Shows what can happen when you give your director freedom to do his [explicit] job and don't meddle with the project in hand because of negative fan reaction to previous films.”

“After 2 viewings I can undoubtedly say that The Suicide Squad is a complete masterpiece and is easily one of the best comic book movies I’ve ever seen,” another fan noted. “THE SUICIDE SQUAD is DC’s best comic book film by a long stretch. James Gunn takes comic book films to the next level with this intense, violent, and surprisingly intimate film. The best I’ve seen all year.”

Another user shared, “The Suicide Squad is a certified banger with some surprisingly emotional character moments. A lot of gore, lots of fun, lots of wonderful ridiculousness.” Meanwhile, another one noted, “There's something about the most exciting comic book movie we've gotten in a while in which all the characters (including a walking talking SHARK) say "f**k" and rip people's in half that makes me believe in the future of cinema.”

One user simply said, “The Suicide Squad movie was a very good watch.” Another one shared, “THE SUICIDE SQUAD: James Gunns’ approach to this sequel to the 2016 film lets him go completely and awesomely unleashed in every. It’s equally insane, violent, hilarious, bloody subversive, heartfelt, nihilistic, and hugely entertaining. The cast, new and old, were all great.”

On the other hand, there were some fans who opened up about their favorite characters from the movie. One user opined, “There are so many fantastic characters and arcs in ‘The Suicide Squad’, but the undisputed MVP as far as I’m concerned is the incredible Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2. She provides so much of the film’s heart and thematic core. One of the very best DC characters on film.”
