The Strokes have announced a triple-threat lineup of shows set to kick off in North America from March 5 in Vancouver, British Columbia. It will continue in Seattle on March 9 and wraps up in Los Angeles on March 14.

Dream pop band Alvvays and indie-pop artist King Princess will support the band in LA, with the former also joining for the other dates. General tickets for the LA show go on sale on Friday, January 31, at 10 am PT, and the Seattle and Vancouver dates follow at noon PT. Citi card members can also access a pre-sale for Seattle and LA. You can track news on their tour and purchase tickets here

The Strokes debuted a new song, 'The Adults Are Talking', onstage in May during a charity show in L.A., which marked the band’s first new material since their EP, 'Future Present Past' which released in 2016. They kicked off 2020 by debuting another song, 'Ode to the Mets', surprising the crowd during their New Year’s Eve show in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Frontman Julian Casablancas tells the crowd, “Yeah, we’ve got a new album coming out soon.” The as-yet-unannounced LP will be their first full-length since 2013’s 'Comedown Machine'. “2020, here we come. The 2010s, whatever the f**k they’re called, we took ‘em off. And now we’ve been unfrozen and we’re back."

He continues teasing the crowd, saying, "If you really love someone, you’ll be frozen with them". He adds, "You know what? I don’t know what I say generally, and I ramble a lot, but I love you guys, and it’s a real honor to share the stage and this night with you guys.” You can read more on that announcement here

According to MXDWN, The Strokes are also set to perform at the Guadalajara edition of the Corona Capital Music Festival, III Points Festival in Miami, and Primavera Sound Barcelona.

The Strokes North American tour dates:

March 5: Vancouver, BC - Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena
March 9: Seattle, WA - WaMu Theater
March 14: Los Angeles, CA - The Forum
