When will 'The Spanish Princess' Season 2 Finale air? Here's where to watch and stream Episode 8 'Peace'
The inevitable is here and Starz's 'The Spanish Princess' is about to come to an end after two very successful years. Mapping the tragic rise and downfall of the Tudor queen Catherine, the series is finally about to air its series finale titled 'Peace'. Ironically, it is going to be anything but, as history documents the cruelty that the once-Queen of England had suffered at the hands of her dearly beloved maniacal husband, King Henry VIII.
However, considering period dramas often tend to fictionalize events, there are several different ways Catherine's journey could end. Wondering when you can finally witness the grand finale and where to access it? Worry not, we've got you covered.
When does it air?
‘The Spanish Princess’ Series Finale, which will be Season 2's Episode 8, airs this November 29, 2020, at 8 pm ET and 7 pm CT.
Where to watch?
Even with most network shows taking a break from airing this Thanksgiving weekend, Starz has decided not to leave its viewers and fans hanging in anticipation of the series finale. The episode will air on the network and anyone with a working cable connection will be able to watch it.
How to stream?
For those extra impatient to catch the series finale and find out how the journey of Catherine of Aragon ends, you can tune into the Starz official website, where the episode drops in advance of its designated evening time slot. The series finale will be available for streaming to subscribed users from midnight of November 29.
The episode can also be streamed on the Starz app (available for download on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon). Live-streaming platforms such as Directv, YouTube TV and Sling TV are also good to go options for viewers without cable, with Hulu airing the episode following their TV premiere, and Amazon Prime Video allowing rent on demand for the same.
What to expect?
According to the official synopsis of the episode titled 'Peace', “As Henry loses himself to madness, the stakes have never been higher for Catherine. Her husband has become a threat to her life." The official promo trailer for the finale doesn't help ease our anticipation for Catherin's fate either, with Oviedo hinting at Henry's deterioration to madness and the king himself threatening to behead his wife, Catherine.
