'The Sims Spark'd' Episode 2: Xmiramira's storytelling floors fans as they say 'her team deserves an Oscar'

Spoilers for 'The Sims Spark'd' Season 1 Episode 2
Last week saw some leadership issues between Team Llama contestants Xmiramira and DrGluon, where the latter was overbearing and unwilling to accept much in the way of suggestion when it came to story, leading Team Llama to only narrowly avoid being eliminated. This week, however, with Team Llama trailing dangerously behind once again, Xmiramira took point, beating the other two teams flat out and the fans couldn't be more thrilled.
"Bunch of shocking twists tonight! Another awesome episode!" writes a fan on Twitter. "@TheSims I AM SHOOK #thesimssparkd episode 2 is a freaking rollercoaster!" says a fan, as Team Llama came up from a consistent third place to the much desired first place spot. Team Llama dark horse victory told a salacious story of an aging actress seeking supernatural means of rejuvenation. The story, which host Tayla Parx called "literally perfect", won Team Llama first place in this week's elimination challenge, sending them into the finals. "Redemption for @Xmiramira! #TeamLlama that elimination story was dope though!" writes another fan.
"WHAT DID I TELL Y'ALL LAST WEEK?!?" said one fan, triumphantly referring to last week's note that Xmiramira is a fantastic storyteller on top of being a great stylist. "I’m so proud of @Xmiramira for taking a bit more charge with this story! It turned out great!" says this viewer. "That story was amazing! @Xmiramira and her team deserve an Oscar! Congrats!" writes this fan. Xmiramira herself talked on the show about how the judges' reactions to the video editing challenge made her feel "validated" and "redeemed".
Though DrGluon is Team Llama's storyteller, he hung back in this challenge to follow Xmiramira's vision, believing that since his team had so consistently fallen through on story during previous challenges, that it was time to "do something crazy". And from the looks of it, it appears that DrGluon may no longer be the best storyteller for the team. He has persistently been criticized by the fans, with one saying, "DrGluon was overbearing. Didn’t appear to be team oriented. He was too much for me." However, longtime fans of his believe it's the show's editing that is to blame, with one fan coming to his defense, "When he’s playing with multiple people on stream he always tries to make conversation with the most quiet person to include them. He is a sweetheart. The editing was garbage."
Despite their rivalry, the two can hopefully continue to put their differences aside as both Team Llama and Team Cowplant are the only teams remaining for the finale, and the grand cash prize of $100,000.
The next episode of 'The Sims Spark'd' airs on July 31 on TBS with a repeat broadcast on the 'Buzzfeed Multiplayer' YouTube channel on August 3.
