The castmates as well as the fans of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' are reeling from the episode that aired last week. The show was teasing the crazy brawl that ensued between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard in October 2019, from the time the promotions for Season 5 began. The details of the altercation were already out in the news. Some said it was Monique who was speaking to the gossip blogs and making it look like she did what she did in defense, some believed it might have been the other guests that were present at the winery when the whole situation went down.

Either way, people knew what had happened, they knew Candiace was dragged by the weave by Monique but that was that. However, the cameras were rolling during the fight, and when 'RHOP' finally aired it on last week's episode, a whole new perspective came to light and people now believe that it's Gizelle Bryant who's come out as the main culprit in this whole situation. The whole fight started with Bryant asking Monique and Candiace if everything was okay between them and by now we all know what happened next.

Monique did a Question and Answer session with her fans on Instagram a couple of days ago. One of the fans asked, “Did you notice when [Gizelle] pushed you during the altercation?” to which she responded with “So, I did not know until I actually watched the whole altercation on video that someone else pushed me. I thought that was Candiace when she reached across, so I don’t know if that was Gizelle or Robyn, but that was definitely a push on my shoulder and that definitely escalated it even more.” Like Monique, a huge section of fans who watched the show felt that Bryant was responsible for instigating the fight. Here are a couple of reactions.

".I’m so over this Gizelle Bryant drama filling and fueled show, no one calls out the fact that she literally fueled this until this point but catches no flack. Idk whether production makes it off-limit to call her out but it needs to be done at some point! #RHOP" wrote a fan. "Candiace was a pawn in the game that Gizelle used and Robyn she’s just a follower. And it shows you Gizelle was enjoying this when she first brought it to Ashley. #RHOP" wrote another. "Did someone hear in the background Gizelle say "Don't let her go" to Monique when everyone else was telling Monique to let Candiace go ?? cuz I replayed several times and I'm sure it was said and i recognized Gizelle's voice," wrote another.
