'RHOA' Season 14: Kandi's decision to make Todd give up his New Jersey condo divides fans

Todd mentioned on an earlier episode of 'RHOA' that he has a New Jersey condo that he previously shared with an ex. While he expressed his wish to spend time with Kandi Burruss in his Garden State home, she was less than enthusiastic. Still, as the cast members traveled to New York City for the new episode, which aired on May 22, Kandi was receptive to touring the apartment — but she wasn't shy about expressing her reservations. She tells Todd that the condo reminded her of his previous relationships.

Todd, on the other hand, is engrossed with something else. He appears to regard the property as something they may renovate for their children. He desires to visit and stay in the condo when the pair visits New York. Todd wanted Kandi to be happy about the condo, Kandi explained in a confessional. She compares it to him re-wrapping a gift he gave to an ex-girlfriend, and now she's meant to be pleased about it. Todd, she expects, will stop trying to push them to go and stay there. Nevertheless, as she prepared to go to the condo with their castmates, she hoped to gain a different perspective on the property.

She acknowledges that she is attempting to improve her frame of mind. She hoped that her girls would be able to help her see the situation more clearly. Furthermore, she doesn't seem to be there yet. Kandi claimed after inspecting the condo that she couldn't see why she would want to stay there. "I'm trying to be supportive," she stated.

They understand why Kandi wouldn't want to live in a house where some "other woman" lived with her now-husband, but they agree with Todd and see it as a smart real estate investment.
