A popular Reddit theory states that the Matrix in itself is of human design. The theory suggests that the Matrix is a device solely man-made, which is used to free minds, thereby cutting out all the corruption that darkens one's soul. As intriguing as it may seem, we as humans have unlocked this achievement of deciphering how to free minds from negativity.

What's more, the fan theory suggests that this is being done whilst also using simulated reality in order to give minds a fresh chance once humans "die", thereby giving their personality a complete makeover. Each copy of the Matrix is loaded into each individual's mind, and everyone else in the specified *MY* simulation is what the computer makes a note of and "calculates", all based on how people tend to make their choices. In fact, this aspect is the reason behind why "the problem is choice".

The downside is that the Matrix will completely free your mind, but only once you put an end to caring about what choices others make. It really is a thinker. For example, how do you willingly make the right choices for others when they themselves have the choice to accept the gift of goodness? Having said that, everyone within The Matrix will accept goodness, in all its glory, something they'd give their lives up for, so as to use it as a stark example of "how to be good to others", but, solely for themselves.

For instance, the more kind and giving you are, the more the Matrix will reward you continuously, as a result of your behavior. If you really think about it, the Matrix is basically a black and white world, in which one can live, leading a normal life; work, pay bills, repeat. The real question is, is there the slightest chance for someone getting out of this vicious cycle of a rut, freeing themselves from the monotonous life to find the absolute best they possess?

'The Matrix Resurrections' was released on December 22, 2021.
