After a week-long break during Thanksgiving, 'The Masked Singer' Season 2 returned, bringing us one step closer to revealing who will be the last celebrity standing unmasked.

For another week in a row, guest judge Joel McHale joined the other four judges, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke for the contest.

This week, four masked celebrities went against one another in two epic faceoffs and the chance to make it through another week unmasked. The first two performances were by the Butterfly and the Fox, and the Fox emerged as the winner.

The second face-off was between the Thingamajig and the Tree. The Thingamajig's clue package stated that he is now focusing on himself and in his line of work, he is used to hustling every day. Performing his version of 'Haven't Met You Yet' by Michael Buble, his performance was dreamy and brought out a new side to him.

He had a picture of Nicole on the screen behind saying "matched", which had the singer gushing.

Jenny quipped if this was the 'Love Connection' or 'The Masked Singer'. After his performance, the judges speculated that it might be Montell Jordan, Bryan McKnight or Dennis Rodman.

The next performance was by the Tree. Her clue package hinted at a reference from FRIENDS with "Smelly Cat". The witch hat also hinted she might have been on 'Wicked'.

Performing her version of 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' by Bonnie Tyler, she blew the roof off with her performance.

After her performance, judges speculated that it might be Lisa Kudrow, Anna Gasteyer, Nia Vardalos or Meghan Mullally. The winner of the face-off was surprisingly the Tree, but the Thingamajig has a chance at redemption.

Taking to Twitter after the performance, fans said they were surprised by the win. "Tbh I was surprised the tree won over the Thingamajig," a fan shared. Another fan said, "Absolutely look surprised! Not that they didn't do well, but Thingamajig kkkiiilllleeeedddd itttt."

"Thingamijig should have won," added a fan while another shared, "Like to see Thingamajig win."
