'The Masked Singer' Season 3: Jordyn Woods is the Kangaroo, goes home after losing to the Astronaut
It was the first faceoff challenge of this season in the 'The Masked Singer'. The Night Angel and the Kangaroo were up against each other and the second pairing of the night was the Turtle and the Astronaut.
After the faceoff performances, it was the Night Angel and the Turtle were declared as the winners of their respective faceoffs based upon votes from the studio audiences and they were the first performers to secure their position in the Top 6. Whereas the Kangaroo and the Astronaut were up for a smackdown and the loser was about to take their mask off, revealing their identity to the judges and the audiences at home before leaving the competition.
Based on the studio audiences votes, the Astronaut was safe and advanced to the next round while the Kangaroo was eliminated from the competition and it was now time for her to TAKE IT OFF! and it came as no surprise, especially to the fans at home, when it was none other than Jordyn Woods who was under the mask.
Fans of the show had taken to Twitter week after week saying it was Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend under the mask since her debut on the show and turns out their guess was a 100 percent on point.
"@jordynwoods GIRL U WERE PHENOMENAL AS THE KANGAROO, girl u were born to sing, your performances were so emotional to me and i was rooting for you for the end but i was really sad to see you go #TheMaskedSinger @MaskedSingerFOX (sic)," wrote a fan after the reveal.
"#TheMaskedSinger the way this is the best reveal of all three seasons we love kangaroo queen @jordynwoods," read another tweet.
Another fan wrote, "The kangaroo was my nieces favorite so sad to see you go @jordynwoods #TheMaskedSinger"
"Ever since kangaroo’s first performance on #themaskedsinger my 2YO son has asked for 'kangaroo' on repeat (he listens in a trance) and carries around a stuffed kangaroo. Thank you for slaying it, @jordynwoods. Please sing again soon," posted a fan.
Next week's faceoff episode will see the Rhino, the Banana, the Kitty and the Frog battle it out against each other.
'The Masked Singer' airs Wednesday nights on Fox.
