Season 4 of 'The Masked Singer' is currently on air and the masks and the overall costumes are much more innovative than the past seasons. The talent participating this year combined have sold more than 281 million records worldwide, appeared in more than 5,120 episodes of television and 204 films, appeared in five Super Bowls, have four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one Academy Award nomination, and one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.

The playoffs are over and Group C contestants will take to the stage for a second time on November 4, 2020. At the end of the episode, one amongst Mushroom, Broccoli, Jellyfish or the Squiggly Monster will be going home while the rest of the masked celebrities will advance to join the remaining Group A and B celebrities in the quarter-finals. So far there've been five eliminations on the show, the latest celebrity to be booted being talk-show host, the outspoken Wendy Williams. The season has reached its halfway mark and people are all the more excited to watch the rest of the celebrities being unveiled.

Enthusiastic fans spend a lot of time investigating whatever clues are made public about these masked celebs and guess their identities. Numerous subreddits, Twitter discussions and Facebook forums have been created by fans of the show and used to discuss clues and theories regarding each participant. Twitter has been proof that the amount of research put in by fans of the show to guess the disguised celebs on the show has always been accurate and they've always been better at it than the judges who get the whole experience, i.e. watching those performances in person. 'The Masked Singer' is one of the top-viewed fan-favorite reality shows that's on the air and what makes it more exciting is when a celebrity takes off their mask after being eliminated from the show. Huge stars including Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Bella Thorne, Wayne Brady and Laila Ali have been on the show before, and we've gone consolidated a list of favorites that fans would like to see participate on the show.

Adam Lambert

For all past three seasons, the judges, as well as the audiences, have had a feeling about Adam being a part of the show, however, none of their guesses have ever been correct and turned out to be just wishful thinking. The singer-songwriter rose to fame on a singing reality show and it would be a full circle if he participated on 'TMS' on Season 5, maybe?

Weird Al

Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic is another name that's come up while guessing the identities of the masked celebrities, especially with panelist Dr. Ken Jeong guessing him a lot. Weird Al is famous for creating parodies of radio hits. He's also known for his voice acting, some of his very best work includes voicing Squid Hat on 'The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy' on Cartoon Network, and Milo Murphy on Disney XD's 'Milo Murphy's Law'. His ability to break into various voices and impressive singing is the reason why he remains a popular guess amongst fans season after season. However, he's yet to appear on the show but it would be fun to see him participate, imagine how cool the clue packages would be!

Bjork

Icelandic singer-songwriter Bjork would be a perfect fit for the show. Her incredibly distinct childlike singing voice and her unconventional costume choices over the years, quite similar to the masks on the show, make her a popular choice amongst fans who'd be more than excited to see her participate.

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino

Audiences of the show were guessing Donald to be the Fox on 'TMS' Season 2 but it turned out to be Wayne Brady who went ahead to win that season. In the current season, their best bet is that he's the masked celebrity disguised as the Mushroom on Group C and whether it turns out to be him or no, he's one of the celebrities that definitely needs to be on the show.

Anna Kendrick

Anna too is one of those celebrities whose participation has been anticipated by fans since the US iteration of the show came into being. They were pretty sure that the Kitty on Season 3 was Kendrick and everyone guessing her name was a bit disappointed as it turned out to be 'America's Got Talent' finalist Jackie Evancho.

'The Masked Singer' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on FOX.
