'The Masked Dancer' Spoilers: Who is the Sloth? Matthew Morrison to Jason Derulo, here are all the clues so far
Group B performers took to 'The Masked Dancer' stage on Wednesday, January 6, night. First, to kick off the performances was the Sloth. He danced to 'What I Like About You' by The Romantics. The performance was very upbeat with the masked celebrity moving his hips like there's no tomorrow. Even though he is disguised as possibly one of the slowest animals to walk the planet, there was nothing lethargic about the Sloth's performance on the show.
He was running at high speed on the treadmill during his performance, showed off some very crazy dance moves and also exhibited some weight lifting skills while at it. So who is the celebrity behind this mask? We try to decode some of the clues.
Who is the Sloth of 'The Masked Dancer'?
A clue package was played before the Sloth could perform. Apart from running on the treadmill at high speed, the Sloth was seen sipping from a cup with the number 13 written on it.
Other visual clues included a DR badge — this could either mean a doctor or the Dominican Republic. There was also a clock on the wall where the time was set to 11:35. There were also a lot of chemistry lab vibes going on in the video. The one-word clue about his identity that he could provide to the judges in his voice after the performance was "Broadway".
Who do the judges think the Sloth is?
The Sloth's high voltage performance caused a frenzy in the studio and the judges were totally taken by how energetic the routine was. "I am falling in love with you. I am really really entertained," said judge Ken Jeong right after the performance while Paula Abdul noted that this masked celebrity could be a trained dancer.
Paula had noted the L for loser sign that he'd done towards the end of his performance as well as she had caught the visual clue, a toothpaste box with the visible word that said 'Glee' on it. She deduced that it could be Matthew Morrison from the hit show from the past.
Judge Brian Austin Green caught some clues related to Britney Spears during the clue package and went with Kevin Federline as his guess. Ashley Tisdale noted that it could be singer Jason Derulo behind the Sloth mask because of the "talk dirty to me" reference in the clue package.

Fans think it's Kristen Bell's husband because a couple of years ago she received a sloth as a surprise from Dax for her birthday.
Derek Hough
The 'Dancing with the Stars' judge had revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he took his girlfriend of five years, Hayley Erbert, to "hang out" with pigs and sloths for her birthday at a farm. This is the reason fans think there's a connection between him and the masked celebrity on the show. Another name coming up in the guesses also includes 'Weakest Link' host Jane Lynch.
'The Masked Dancer' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Fox.
