Whenever one door closes, another opens, or in our beloved Miriam "Midge" Maisel's (Rachel Brosnahan) case, a door to a strip club opened. After being left on the tarmac by Shy Baldwin, the comedian was beaten down but wasn't ready to give up just yet. Season 4 of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' kicked off with Midge determined to make it big, but on her own terms. After realizing that some of her best performances were the ones that she did impromptu, she decided to pursue that path.

But Midge's manager, Susie Myerson (Alex Borstein) reminded her that while her idea might be great in terms of creativity, it might not be the best path for them financially. But Midge wasn't ready to give up on her idea just yet, and luckily for her, she found a solution that met both her creative criteria and Susie's financial criteria -- working as a hostess at a strip club! Even though Susie wasn't completely on board with the idea of Midge performing at a strip club, she found it hard to talk her client out of it. Midge excitedly began her work, but faced quite a few roadblocks right from the get-go, including a fall from the stage.

Since customers come to the strip club to watch the strip performances, the club's management was more focused on billing that rather than Midge's comic sets. Midge tried her best to bring about some changes at the club to make it work in her favor but was met with reluctance from the management. She still continued to work on her act and tried to make it work for her.

Midge was just beginning to get the hang of things when she ended up tumbling down the stage. Unfortunately, the episode ended with a cliffhanger of her fall, leaving us wondering if she's okay. Considering Midge always finds a way out and lands on her feet (pun intended), we're sure she'll be just fine. However, we can't wait to watch how her fall might impact the club management's decision to take her more seriously.

'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' Season 4 is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
