Interestingly, they get to know that the Kingdom of Tal’Dorei is looking for mercenaries who can get together and kill the beast that’s been wreaking havoc in and around the kingdom. ‘Vox Machina’ reaches the palace and tells the king that it will be an honor for them to perform the task. One of the members, Scanlan (Sam Riegel), sings in order to tell the kingdom how legendary the team is. As soon as the song ends, the council decides to give them a chance.

However, Vex’ahila feels that someone in the room knows about the beast and is dealing with it. But she doesn’t say anything. Lady Allura (Indira Varma) takes the band of misfits to the area where the beast has been wreaking havoc. While traveling, they come across a village where a family asks Pike (Ashley Johnson), who is a healer, to bless their home so that the beast can’t harm them. Pike acts like she’s blessing the home and the team moves forward to complete their mission.

However, everything changes when they finally meet the beast. The beast is a large Dragon who has been possessed by darkness. At first, the team is not able to attack the dragon but there comes a point when they decide to come together and defeat the beast. They attack and try to put up a fight but the Dragon is too powerful for them. The whole team asks Keyleth to use her powers and take the help of nature to beat the beast. Keyleth uses her power and smashes the Dragon with powerful lightning strikes. The plan doesn’t work and the Dragon becomes even more powerful.

Dragon flies away as the team is saved by Keyleth. The group decides that they didn’t sign up for this and won’t be continuing the mission. The team heads back and sees that the village they passed through has been completely decimated by the Dragon. Vax runs to the family they met and sees that they have all died. The entire team arrives and feels disheartened. However, one of the kids is still alive and taking his last breath.

Pike tries healing him, but she is weak after healing Grog (Travis Willingham) after the battle. The kid dies and the team decides to do something good for the first and kill the dragon.

‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
