'The Legacy Of The Bones', is a sequel to 2017's 'The Invisible Guardian' bringing back to surface the investigations of homicide inspector Amaia Salazar. The original title is 'Legado en los huesos' and was released in Spain in October 2019. The movie is an adaptation of the second novel in author Dolores Redondo's 'The Baztan Trilogy'.

Plot
The Spanish thriller will continue with the story of homicide inspector Amaia Salazar who is on a suicide investigation in Baztán Valley. She believes that the suicide case is connected to a murder case that she had solved a year ago in the north of Spain.
The complete synopsis reads, "It’s been a year since Inspector Amaia Salazar solved the crimes that terrorized her valley. She’s now pregnant and is determined to leave what she experienced in her hometown in the past. But she finds her life shaken by an unforeseen event: the suicides of several inmates who leave behind a single written word in their cells: Tarttalo. The dangers Amaia thought she’d escaped return with a vengeance and she must undertake a dizzying investigation to solve the new case, all while menaced by the presence of her disturbing mother."

Marta Etura
Spanish actress Etura is known for her toles in 'La vida que te espera' (2004), 'Sleep Tight' (2011) and 'The Invisible Guardian' (2017). Her other works include 'Para que no me olvides,' 'Cold Winter Sun' (Frío sol de invierno) and 'Your Next Life' (La vida que te espera). She plays the role of Amaia Salazar in 'The Legacy Of The Bones.'
Other cast members include Carlos Librado 'Nene', Leonardo Sbaraglia, Francesc Orella, Imanol Arias and Benn Northover.
Creators
The movie is directed by Fernando González Molina and is written by Luiso Berdejo. Dolores Redondo wrote the novel. Doris Schrenner and Meinolf Zurhorst serve as executive producers. Molina also directed Spain's box-office hit 'Palm Trees in the Snow', a historical romance.
