Spoilers ahead for Season 1 Episode 3 of 'The L Word: Generation Q' titled 'Lost Love'

Episode 2 of 'The L Word: Generation Q' featured a relationship drama between Dani (Arienne Mandi) and Sophie (Rosanny Zayas), a rather anticlimactic reveal about who killed Jenny Schecter (Mia Kirshner) in the original run of the series.

The episode showed us how Alice (Leisha Hailey) and her partner Natalie (Stephanie Allynne) started their relationship two years before the show's events and it featured the beginning of Micah (Leo Sheng) and Jose (Freddy Miyares) with a steamy makeout session in the pool.

This actually upset some viewers (for reasons we can't quite decipher). "Micah & Jose's 'hook up' scene was one of the cringiest things I've ever seen on television," a fan pointed out.

It also showed us just how much we don't know about Shane (Katherine Moennig) from all these years. We know that Shane sold all her salons and moved to Los Angeles at the beginning of 'The L Word: Generation Q' and that she is away from her wife, a certain Quiara we again have no idea about.

And even as she is hooking up with people since returning to LA, at the end of the second episode, she receives divorce papers that she is genuinely taken aback by. So our deductions are that Shane is clearly heartbroken over this marriage and might have escaped to LA. But where is the context?

Speaking of Shane, we think she might invest in the bar and help turn it into a lesbian bar. In the previous episode, Shane and Finley (Jacqueline Toboni) visit a straight bar, where the bartender Lena (Mercedes Mason) speaks about the lack of lesbian bars in LA.

There, after a little disturbance, she suggests that someone should just buy the bar and convert it into a lesbian bar. And we're thinking that "someone" is going to be Shane. And fans are not far away. "I'm 100% certain Shane has already bought it by next week," said a fan.

At the same time, a promo released by the network shows that Alice is trying to patch things up between Nat and her ex-wife Gigi (Sepideh Moafi).

"I brought two best friends back together," she is seen telling Shane in the promo. To which Shane responds, "Two ex-wives". Could this lead to something disastrous; something that Alice didn't see coming?

On the work front, Alice will be seeing differences as Drew (Christopher Wallinger) is brought on board. We see him for the first time in the previous episode, all eager to work with Alice and her team on her show. But all he receives are negative vibes from them.

In another part of LA, Bette is preparing for an important debate. After the scandal that broke out in the first episode, we are keen to see how this debate will draw out, and whether Bette's past will be brought up.

'The L Word: Generation Q' airs on Sundays at 10/9c on Showtime.
