Tuesday nights are meant for 'The Haves And The Have Nots' fans, but dear god, even for the hardcore lovers of the OWN show this was a bit of a drag. There's only so much of Jim Cryer (John Schneider) plotting that you can watch in one episode. To be honest, the episode lacked the delicious diabolism of Veronica (Angela Robinson), because it's clear that without her, the show is just a dull bore. But anyway, let's cut to the chase.

The first few minutes of the episode were thrilling because we got to see Hanna (Crystal Fox) brandishing a knife at Derrick Davis (Keith Burke) and threatening him to get out of her house, or she would call the police. He doesn't budge and keeps whining, 'Hanna please..'. Well, Hanna's got her head screwed on straight, so she does call the police and they do the rest. Hopefully, Derrick has been written out for good? His lukewarm pleas about forgiveness for raping her, was grating on the nerves and it was just painfully annoying.

Meanwhile, there's another character who needs to be written out for good and that's Jim Cryer. Thankfully, he's out of the hospital, because god knows he has been there for the past two seasons. He has plans for Veronica and they're not good. He wants to kill her and needs David's (Peter Parros) assistance. Why David continues to lick Jim's boots, is beyond understanding. However, coming back to Veronica, aren't people familiar with the fact that the Ice Queen can land people in a casket if she wants? That, in fact, would be the perfect end to Season 8 if we said goodbye to Jim, once and for all. He almost gets manipulated by his son Wyatt (Aaron O' Connell), who has his own reasons for being soft with daddy. Wyatt is back in the hospital and he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Honestly, most of the Cryers seem to alternate between hospital and jail.

The next episode promises to be thrilling because it appears as if Hanna is doing some sneaky investigation on her own and this will lead to an ugly confrontation between her, David, and Jim. Will the next episode be a good one? Well, we sure hope so. Candace (Tika Sumpter) is back too, along with Veronica.

'The Haves And The Have Nots' airs on Tuesday nights, ABC at 10 pm.
