'The Good Place' Season 4 Episode 5: Michael and Jason head to the Bad Place, can Eleanor and Tahani run the neighborhood?
The good people of the Good Place are on a mission. No, not the first one where they are trying to save all of humanity from being unjustly sent to the Bad Place to be tortured for eternity.
There is a new sub-mission, if you will. Michael (Ted Danson) and Jason (Manny Jacinto) are on their way to the Bad Place to save Janet (D'Arcy Carden).
As we saw in the previously aired season four episode five of the show, a Bad Place Janet has been pretending to be the one that is friends with Michael and the team.
Thanks to Snakes PornFourth from his An- aka Glenn (Josh Siegal) who crossed borders in the dark of night to warn the Good Place that the Bad Place isn't playing fair, the team was able to deduct this.
In the upcoming 'Employee of the Bearimy', we see the duo heading to the Bad Place in the hope of rescuing their Janet.
Will they run into the fake Michael, who is basically Vicky (Tiya Sircar) in the Michael suit or Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson), or worse, run into the real Janet, and she thinks it is Shawn tricking her to torture her?
It remains to be seen. Thankfully, Michael knows the lay of the land, and Jason has proved that he knows his "not a girl" better than anyone else. So, we have high hopes.
Meanwhile, Eleanor (Kristen Bell) and Tahani (Jameela Jamil) are running the neighborhood by themselves without a Janet — good or bad. Will they be able to handle the pressure?
The official synopsis for the episode reads, "Eleanor learns firsthand the difficulties of running the neighborhood", which worries us a little, but Tahani will hopefully be able to step in when required.
And, as seemingly useless as Derek (Jason Mantzoukas) is, they have him in their employee as well, he may be able to handle the mechanics of running the neighborhood — at least after a few hundred reboots.
The upcoming Season 4 Episode 5 of 'The Good Place', which airs on Thursday, October 24, will see how the split up gangs fair in their individual missions.
