Ahead of its grand Season 4 premiere, 'The Good Doctor' blessed its fans with three snippets from the new season. Offering a detailed sneak peeks into the lives of the prodigal Dr Shaun Murphy (Freddy Highmore), the snippets show Shaun taking on unpredictable illnesses and sometimes uncomfortable emotions too. We're talking about Shaun's next-door neighbor-turned-best friend-turned partner Lea Dillalo of course.

The season premiere however will initially see Lea missing from Shaun's apartment, with him breaking into fights with Alex Park, hinting at a possible break-up in the relationship that had just begun in the Season 3 finale.

The biggest reason to believe things are not okay between Lea and Shaun is the way Park approaches how Shaun misses Lea when the younger doctor rages into a full-blown outburst all for some new items in Lea's cabinets. The teaser snippets from the premiere episode titled 'Frontline Part 1' highlights this sentimental exchange.

The clip shows Shaun open his bedroom door to outrage, rushing to the kitchen counter where Park is tacking an amazing deal he got on toilet paper. Just Covid-era television, no big deal!

Shaun protests loud and clear, insisting they must keep Lea's cabinets clean and empty for her when she gets back. Park stays quiet, allowing Shaun his outburst as the latter continues how Park had no right to change or put things in Shaun's apartment. This is when things get solemn. Park explains to Shaun these emotions are just him missing Lea. Shaun is so glaringly reluctant to admitting these feelings that one can't help but wonder if everything's fine in their newfound paradise.

Season 3 had ended with Lea finally kissing Shaun, after reflecting on her own bias and prejudice and that was a major milestone in the next step of their relationship. In the Season 4 premiere, Shaun can be seen explaining his concerns for Lea's storage availability as general ones, such as what if she were exposed to Covid-19.

Park tries to give the example of him missing Kallen and Mia the same way Shaun feels about Lea. Park is concerned about his family back in Arizona and looks like his plans to move back in got squelched too. But when he talks to Shaun about it, it sounds more like someone consoling the titular doctor than giving them hope about Lea's return.

'The Good Doctor' Season 4 premieres on Monday, November 2, at 11 pm on ABC.
