‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 Episode 9 fans feel Claire Browne and Neil Melendez should date
Episode 9 of ABC hit medical drama ‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 turned out to be quite eventful but what took all our attention was Claire’s involvement with a patient. Dr Claire Browne ends up on a one-night-stand with a man she meets at a bar and much to her surprise he ends up as her patient at St Bonaventure Hospital.
In due course, she discovers that he is married with a child, which precisely means that he was cheating on his wife with Claire. While she is struggling to get a grip over the facts, she comforts herself by believing that he was the one who cheated on her and she had no role to play in breaking his marriage apart. But soon, as we see, the man’s wife finds out and does not leave a chance to publicly humiliate Claire. This is where things get interesting and sympathetic for Claire.
While initially, fans were disappointed about how Claire acted irresponsibly towards her date, they are also supporting the fact that it’s high time the young resident doctor finds a good man and enjoys a good relationship. And according to fans, no one’s better to be her man than Dr Neil Melendez. Fans like @Lill_Bitt29arealready rooting for the possibility of the senior doctor and the third-year resident to get together, “Did #TheGoodDoctor writers finally hear our cry and we can now get Melendez and Browne together.?!”
And @CLAIRMONTBISHOP already cannot hold her excitement, even before anything has materialized. “oh lordt is this the beginning of melendez and claire 👀 #TheGoodDoctor.”
As much as we would like new relationships to brighten up the otherwise stressful environment of St Bonaventure Hospital, expecting Claire and Neil to date might be a bit too early, considering Neil is still not over Audrey completely and Claire is also not in the right spot to make a decision that could change her life.
Having said that, Claire and Neil have also had some chemistry, as seen in the earlier seasons. So, there is always a possibility for Claire and him to explore their equation and see where it goes. Or, so, fans like @blindlistfeel. “I just love that we're slowly getting back that melendez & claire content from previous seasons... the way that they're just there for each other... #TheGoodDoctor”
