'The Family Chantel': Will Nicole return the ring to Alejandro after her mother tells her he just wants sex?
The drama between Lidia and her daughter Nicole escalated to an all-time high after the latter told her that her boyfriend Alejandro was married and was in the middle of a divorce. A shocked and angry Lidia chased after Alejandro with her purse after he and Nicole kept convincing her that they're serious about each other.
She'd also opened up about her personal experience where Pedro and Nicole's father had trapped her into a relationship and she only found out that he was already a married man with children. Lidia was hell-bent that Alejandro was doing the same with Nicole and he'd never divorce his wife and continue deceiving her daughter.
This week, Alejandro and Nicole were seen visiting the carnival. They were having a great time and in order to make a grand declaration of his love, he went down on one knee and gave her a ring. This was not an engagement ring, he was still very much a married man and gave her a promise ring instead.
Nicole accepted it and was now ready to counter all of her mother's doubts by showing her the ring every time she raises an issue with her relationship with Alejandro. She was back at her house and in no time she and Lidia began to squabble again.
Lidia continued to justify her stand, reiterating that she wasn't going to see her daughter fall into the same troubles as her. Upon seeing the ring, Lidia called Nicole "disgusting" and told her that she could've declined to accept the same. She said that these are the kind of men who make a lot of promises but they usually don't see the end of it. Lidia went ahead to tell Nicole that Alejandro isn't in love with her and the only thing he wants to achieve is to "get in bed" with her.
She further shared that once he's tired of having sex with her, he will return to his family. She continued lashing out and Nicole left the house once again after being offended by some of the things she heard her mother say. The next day, she drove off to the airport to see Alejandro as he was leaving for New York.
She told Alejandro about the tense conversation she had with her mother and he was now losing his cool. To add insult to injury, Nicole told him that she's finding it really tough being caught up between the drama and that she couldn't really pick a side.
It looked like she would return the ring to Alejandro but instead, she told him that she trusts him but in very firm words asked him to finalize his divorce as soon as he can. Will Alejandro ghost Nicole after going back to NYC or will he stay true to his words and finalize his divorce in the coming months? Only time will tell.
