‘The Chef Show’ Volume 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer, and all you need about Jon Favreau's hit show
Running since June 2019, ‘The Chef Show’ had garnered quite a bit of popularity among culinary enthusiasts as well as fans of Jon Favreau. The show was a spin-off from his 2014 movie, ‘Chef’ which featured him as a struggling chef and reinventing himself in his culinary journey. Along with celebrated Korean chef, Roy Choi, Favreau sets out on a culinary adventure across the country. The show is all about their gastronomic experience and what they take away from every spot.
Release Date
‘The Chef Show’ first launched its first season on June 7, 2019, followed by a second part of the same season on September 13, 2019. The latest and the third volume of Season 1 is all set to drop on Netflix on February 19, 2020.
Plot
The hosts, Favreau and Choi travel throughout the United States, cooking great food, experimenting with classic recipes, collaborating with some of the great names in food and entertainment, stopping by legendary spots, sharing a bite with celebrity guests and reinventing their love for food in the most inspiring way. So far, the duo has covered Atlanta, Texas, and Los Angeles.
In the previous two volumes, the hosts have cooked and dined with guest stars like the Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow among more.

‘The Chef Show’ features Jon Favreau and Roy Choi as the hosts, who will be back for the third volume as well.
Jon Favreau is recognized as a major part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and is the name behind some of Hollywood’s popular productions like ‘Iron Man’, ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘Avengers’ franchise, ‘Zathura: A Space Adventure’, ‘Cowboys and Aliens’, ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘The Lion King’, Disney Plus’s ‘The Mandalorian’, among many others. He has also gained recognition for his acting roles in movies like ‘Chef’, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘Identity Thief’, ‘Couples Retreat’, ‘The Replacement’, ‘Deep Impact’ and ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, as well as in TV shows like ‘Friends’.
Roy Choi, is a celebrated Korean chef, known for fusing Korean and Mexican cuisines and creating the gourmet taco truck, Kogi. He has also been the face of many culinary shows like ‘Broken Bread’, ‘The Burger Show’, ‘Ugly Delicious’, ‘The Best Thing I Ever Ate’, ‘Top Chef’, ‘I’ll Have What Phil’s Having’ and ‘Binging with Babish’. Apart from being a chef, Choi is also recognized as the author of the book ‘L.A Son: My Life, My City, My Food’, which features his culinary career and his personal story.

‘The Chef Show’ is the brainchild of Jon Favreau, who creates, directs, and features as the host. He also co-produces the show along with Annie Johnson. Johnson is known for her work in ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Bird Box’, ‘A Simple Favour’, ‘Christopher Robin’, ‘Justice League’, ‘Detroit’, ‘12 Years A Slave’, ‘Man of Steel’ and ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, among others
