'The Busch Family Brewed': Marissa Morgan might've just revealed that the show is fake

The past few episodes revolve around the family ganging up against Marissa. The bullying has transcended to social media with Marissa voicing her opinion. But in the back and forth, she might've just revealed that the show is fake

MTV's show 'The Busch Family Brewed' might be scripted and it's not just us who's saying that. After last week's episode aired, Marissa Morgan, who was introduced on the show as Billy Jr.'s girlfriend, took to Twitter to sound off. In doing so, she might have revealed that the show is not as real as it claims to be, more on this later.

A little background for 'TBFB' newbies. At the center of the show are Billy Sr. and Christi Busch and their seven children. If you've been following the show, you'd know that a lot of the elements about the family look fake (not talking about Grace's fake tan or Christi's wrinkle-free skin). For instance, the Busch children, all of them who're adults barring one, living under their parent's roof by choice.

Another example that screams fake or regressive is when matriarch Christi tells her daughter Maddie that she would die if she had sex, right before she's about to go to prom and so do the instances where the whole clan gang up, painting Marissa as a gold digger and someone who's only interested in dating Billy Jr. for the Busch family glitz and glam.

The show is really low on content and it was established in the very week that the show aired with the entire family just talking about "being together" and beer. It was in the third week of the show being on-air when Marissa was introduced. After that, it was as if the showrunners took her and centered the episodes around her which air for a straight hour every Thursday night.

Coming back to Marissa's tweet, it was an event on an episode that played out two weeks ago where Billy was in Dallas to look for apartments with Marissa and he brought along his brother Gussie and friend Jake.

On finding the house of their dreams, the couple decided to meet with Gussie and Jake to celebrate, but the evening turned sour when they called Marissa a gold digger to her face. This exchange led to Billy Jr. throwing his drink on his brother Gussie.

After the episode aired, Grace Busch was quick to point shade at Marissa and she tweeted out a funny gif that read, "I like sugar daddies".  Marissa was quick to respond to this but she did it with class.

However, the constant back and forth and finger-pointing led to her exposing the show. "Lol so it’s MY fault a grown-ass man threw a drink on his brother? #buschfamilybrewed If we are being honest I was told to throw a drink on Gussie numerous times but that’s not me," she tweeted after last weeks episode ended.

This has us thinking if she's insinuating that the show may be fake.

However, it was not just us who thought so. Billy Jr. responded to her tweet saying, "They crossed a line, I got heated, and I did it when I say red because I guess I can be that kind of person. I have your back and I hope you know it even if you can’t see it. I don’t appreciate @gussiebusch7 referring to you as a dumb. I hate that this puts me in this spot".

He followed it up with, "This grown ass man threw a drink at his own brother because I was heated and wanted to protect your honor. I am not understanding why you’re trying to make it sound scripted because I told you you had every right to throw your drink at them when they were saying terrible things,"

Marissa is yet to respond to that tweet but the good news is Season 1 is drawing to a close this Thursday and one can only hope that the bar isn't lowered any further.

'The Busch Family Brewed' airs Thursday nights on MTV. Check your local listings for more information.
