LOS ANGELES: 'The Boys' Season 4 Episode 5 just dropped on Prime Video on June 27 titled, ‘Beware of the Jabberwock, My Son', where the fallout from Homelander’s recent violence continues.

This time, Homelander takes a step back while Butcher and his team move forward with their plan to eliminate Supes. Meanwhile, 'The Seven' focus on their usual superhero duties, similar to what you see in MCU movies.

Hughie also deals with his dad, who now has powers from Compound V. Alongside this, there are Marvel references and bizarre scenes with flying farm animals. As we hit the season’s midpoint, the action keeps you hooked.

'The Boys' parodies Disney's D23 expo as V52 Expo

As teased earlier this season, we are now at the V52 Expo, a clear parody of Disney’s D23 Expo. They make fun at the jam-packed schedule of upcoming movies and TV shows, not just targeting Marvel but also ribbing DC’s darker films.

It's the kind of sharp satire you expect from 'The Boys', packed with cultural and media references. As Cameron Coleman says, “...which we’re sharing with all of you today in exhaustive detail.”

Showrunner Eric Kripke even provided fans with a high-res version of the Vought movie timeline via X.

Guardians of Godolkin finally make their appearance in 'The Boys'

One of the main and direct 'Gen V' references was about the show's Supe villains Sam and Cate, known as The Guardians of Godolkin. They stirred up trouble in 'The Woods' and caused chaos in the Gen V finale.

However, Homelander framed them as heroes in the end, and possibly killed the rest of their group.

Tek Knight makes an appearance in 'The Boys'

Though Tek Knight was mentioned in last week's episode, he makes a physical appearance in Episode 5 to showcase his new movie.

He's seen not only presenting his film but also mingling in The Seven Room alongside Cate and Sam.

Meanwhile, Homelander addresses all the Supes gathered in the room, setting the stage for potential tensions and alliances among the characters.

'Training A-Train' makes another sweet cameo in 'The Boys' 

In 'The Boys' Season 4 Episode 2, viewers were treated to a glimpse behind the scenes of A-Train’s upcoming coming-of-age film, 'Training A-Train'. The episode featured a special cameo from comedy icon Will Ferrell, adding to the buzz around the movie.

Now, at the V52 Expo, 'Training A-Train' is once again in the spotlight with fresh footage revealed to eager fans. This renewed attention at the expo hints at the film’s potential impact and A-Train's growing celebrity within 'The Seven'.
