'The Blacklist' Season 7 Episode 14: Fans wonder if Red framed [spoiler] even as they cheer Aram's actions
Spoilers for Season 7 Episode 14 'Twamie Ullulaq'
On the latest episode of 'The Blacklist' Season 7, we saw Aram (Amir Arison) actively seek out Raymond "Red" Reddington's (James Spader) help to figure out what exactly happened to Elodie's husband Charles.
It all started when Elodie hid details of a prenup from Aram, and ended up inheriting millions after the passing of her elderly, ailing husband. In the end, we see Aram's worst fears confirmed when the test results come back, and when he goes to see Elodie, he ends up arresting her.
However, knowing how much Red loves exercising control over his beloved minions, could it be just him framing Elodie to regain control over Aram? We have known for a while how torn Aram feels about being with Elodie considering she was still living with her then dying husband.
He almost tried to break things off with her saying it wasn't the right thing to do, to just be with someone and hope another person dies so they have to stop sneaking around. Aram, however, caved in eventually and continued with the relationship.
Things change in tonight's Episode 14 titled 'Twamie Ullulaq' where Aram learns of Elodie's recent inheritance and also of the funds she shared, and those that she didn't with her husband. The discrepancies in both raise suspicion in Aram and when he seeks out Red's help, he asks Aram to get a blood sample from Elodie's dead husband.

Even though Aram straight-up asks Elodie at one point if she killed her husband and she responds in the negative, he goes ahead with the samples — handing it over to one of Red's men who could have easily swapped the samples or compromised them enough to look like Elodie had something to do with it.
For all we know, this could have been done under Red's commands as well, so while fans on Twitter believe "Aram's now asking the right questions to the right person," he might as well be trusting the wrong people for the right actions too.
The latest episode revealed how Red won't hesitate to use the agents as pawns, endangering their safety in his sick pursuits to win.
Maybe his concept of professionalism thinks it's okay for him to use and manipulate people he works with, or maybe he did it simply out of Aram's best interest at heart, but right now, it wouldn't be entirely right to hold Elodie accountable for her husband's death.
Fans, however, are soaking up this development with sheer joy and glory as they tweeted "Aram has always deserved way better than Elodie." Some of them even empathized with the poor chap, writing: "I feel for Aram, he has terrible luck with women — I knew Elodie was shady from the start."
But mostly, as one fan pointed, the entire fandom seems "So proud of you Aram! put them handcuffs on her!!" And of course, fans are extremely "Glad to see that Aram has awakened from the fever dream that is Elodie! Another brilliant turn! Once again I cheer for Aram even while my heart breaks for him."
'The Blacklist' Season 7 airs on Fridays at 8 pm on NBC.
