Director Matt Reeves gave the world its first look at Robert Pattinson as Batman sending the world in a tizzy. And now, it is the Michael Giacchino-composed theme that has been getting all the attention.

A fan took to Twitter where he shared his amped-up rock version of the theme that instantly received Giacchino's seal of approval. The video that lasts close to a minute sees Pattinson suited up as the Dark Knight with the theme in the background getting a rock twist.

And fans loved it. "Duuuude this is so cool! I'm glad Michael approved it. I hope they put it in the soundtrack one way or another," tweeted a fan. "This is freaking cool man!! Nice!," wrote another.  One of them asked the all-important question: "And how do I make this my ring tone?".  Plus, a bit of an opinion coming in as well: "It's cool. I think you could throw a few more layers of guitar to capture that build up in the original, but a good listen nonetheless."

"Fantastic" and "awesome" were the words that best described the score as fans used the terms often to praise the content creator. "This is dope! Nice work dude \o," wrote a fan.

The rock-version creator, who goes by the name, Steve (@onecoolsquirrel) uploaded the video earlier with the caption reading: "As promised, here’s the rock version of the new Batman theme, as pre-approved by @m_giacchino ! Hope you all enjoy. Also, there’s a surprise for ALL Batman fans at the VERY end".  Giacchino had just one thing to say: "Wow that was fast!! So cool!!"

'The Batman's script is co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin. The film will also see 'Big Little Lies' actor Zoe Kravitz play the role of Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred.  The film produced by Warner Bros is scheduled to release in theatres on June 25, 2021.
