Director Matt Reeves on Thursday surprised fans by sharing the first-ever look of actor Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit. The director shared the actor's camera test where Pattinson looks stunning in the night crusader's outfit complete with the Batman logo. The video, which is lit with red light, doesn't show the entire suit but just the upper body of the actor and the mask stunningly fitted to show Pattinson's sharp cheekbones as he looks into the camera.

The camera test was filmed by cinematographer Greig Fraser and the alluring background score which plays out in the video is composed by Michael Giacchino. The film has been in production in London as of January and Pattinson was cast to play the role of Batman in May 2019. Since then, the buzz surrounding the film has been high. This is the actor's first superhero role, and he will be portraying the DC superhero who was previously been brought to life by Ben Affleck, Christian Bale among others.

The reveal that came as a surprise to fans has also impressed them, especially the suit. One fan wrote, "The BatSuit Reveal! It looks soooo goood!" Another super excited fan wrote, "OH MY BATGOD!!! The casting had me excited before but this! #Battinson looks like he was born to play the #Batman!!! Well done @mattreevesLA my nerd boner is raging!!! Not only the suit, fans also observed that the background score was impressive. One fan wrote, "'The Batman' The suit is flawless. The music is flawless. Everything is flawless."

The script for the film is co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin. The film will also see 'Big Little Lies' actor Zoe Kravitz play the role of Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred.

The film produced by Warner Bros is scheduled to release in theatres on June 25, 2021.
